To make the floorboards I cut the ends off popsicle sticks, glued them to a piece of wood, stained them, then varnished them.

My film (Failure) is a finalist in the Teletoon Animation Scholarship (a film festival), and is open for viewing/voting online: www.teletoon.com/scholarship. It would be much appreciated if you take a look at it, and if you vote for me it would be even better!!!

To create the stopmotion animation I use a program called "stopmotion station (1.3)", and to edit the movie I use a program called Sony Vegas Movie Studio (platinum edition)

DrBlorgus Sep 14th 2008 8:44pm

Nice. Except the Mona Lisa hangs behind bullet-proof glass and could never be rolled up as depicted in the video seeing as how it was painted by da Vinci on poplar wood...cool video though.

claymator101 Sep 15th 2008 8:11pm

yeah.. ive seen the mona lisa and Im quite aware that it cant be rolled up, but if he didnt the painting wouldnt fit through the window!

The bricks & road are both pieces of wood with concrete poured on top (then i smoothed it out) - and the bricks i used a tooth pick to make the pattern
