Thanks Mm93, glad you like him! i haven't uploaded anything for a while, but have more models to upload soon. for all my models, i use the three tools i got from the W&G modelling kit- theyre really effective, especially for smoothing out small areas. the main body and hat are fimo clay, (hardened as otherwise it dissolves plastic), with a wire frame. the hands, head and boots are regular plasticine. for smaller details, i tend to just look around the house for suitable things to use: the buttons are pin heads pushed into the clay, then painted. the belt buckle is made from stuff called plasticard, which you can buy from most independant model shops. it's brilliant because you can cut it with scizzors, file it and paint it after! hope you found these tips useful!
