I did it using a program called 'Maya' (it's what lots of film studios use to do CGI) then I added the sound and titles using another program called 'VideoMach'. Maya has a sculpt tool and that's how I made Wallace.

Ruddy well brillitant. I love the attention to detail like the beach ball and the kids yelling.
I use Bryce and Poser for my CGI software. Please, Please, Please,Please,Please,Please,PLEASE!!! do another one.

YES! DO ANOTHER ONE! And Dachappell, where do you get Bryce and Poser. I've heard of it but I thought of Maya being the best since I have the demo and am buying the real thing after Easter, hopefully! WHOOPEE! The background detail is brilliant! PLEASE MAKE ANOTHER ONE!!!

Go for it Mark! Maya is really good but there's a awful lot to learn before you can even start!. If you've got videoMach there's loads you can do with any 3D modelling program and screenshots (press Ctrl-Alt-PrtScr on Windows to copy a picture of the screen to the clipboard) then you can string them together in videoMach.

The sharp shadows make it seem like it takes place in southern California, but of course in America clotheslines are forbidden. Maybe Greece?

Thanks v-much Rastophulus. Glad to see ya back! I have downloaded VideoMach, however I'm not sure if it was a demo because it was free but oh well. I'm about to order Maya soon. It will rock! The demo does. Are we going to see another one of these! I would LOVE to see another!

I really want to do another but my college work is taking up all my time... :o( I'm doing computers but I wish I'd done animation instead! I've got 1 more module to do which is animation but it won't be up to me to choose the character (sigh). I'd love to try and do Wallace talking - my favorite bit is in A Close Shave where he says 'Windows are our speciality' - it's REALLY well done!
