OK, how about someone making W&G The Musical, then? Yeah, no bull! It would work... er, have we been here before, lads and lasses????? 
The stage play could go on the road again with some good, quality music and lyrics for the cast to sing (the songs could be written by Mike Harding or Victoria Wood, perchance?)...and
could do a lot of dancing.... I saw
doing an Irish jig when the play came to Manchester - it was Angela Clerkin who played the part of the dastardly penguin and she's a professional actress/Irish dancer...
On the subject of musicals...do you ever get the feeling that music composers are running out of ideas? They recycle songs from Queen, Take That and Abba for their book/storyline and whip a few songs here and there... nowt original... like cut, copy and paste but if the public like it...
