got to be Wensleydale, but only if it's official stuff and has Wallace and Gromit on the wrapper!

I also enjoy Applewood and Cheddar, I always keep those three in the house, though I do like to sample others as well from time to time

fatfriday1 Posted: Aug 29th 2007

chedder and wensleydale

springwizard Posted: Sep 4th 2007

Honestly,as long as it doesn't have an ofensive odour to it,I'll eat it. Heck,I'm not picky. Of course,I've never had any "Wensleydale" before. Heard of it,though I've never actualy eaten any. I doubt that they even SELL the stuff on my side of the "Big Pond". Yeah, that's right you Brits, you're talkin' to a "Yank" 'ere. Haw!Haw! I slay myself. Boy,I wish you could hear me,I can sound just like a Brit.

Lightning Storm Shaun Posted: Sep 5th 2007

Or some local Yorkshire cheese.

benjee Aardman Staff Posted: Sep 5th 2007

My favourite is Roulë, its french, creamy and has a very strong garlic taste, fantastic on crackers!

Gromit201 Posted: Sep 5th 2007

cheddar!!!!!!|-)do you like it?

shaunisgr8 Posted: Sep 5th 2007

Low fat Dutch farmers cheese or goat or sheep milk cheese, or medium fat camembert. They're originally made from raw milk without conservants. Can't stomach many other kinds because of the fat and conservant combination. But it's not as bad as Wendolene in a close shave!
Haven't tried English cheese yet, it's hard to come by here. But I'll try some as soon as I get across the sea!

shaunisgr8 Posted: Sep 5th 2007

What's the local cheese in Yorkshire like?

debeller Posted: Sep 8th 2007

Got to be chedder and wensleydale

shaunisgr8 Posted: Sep 8th 2007

Ah well. I'll just have to look harder to find some over here so I can taste it.

french_shaun_fan Posted: Sep 9th 2007

Goat cheese, mostly.
But I love good St Félicien and Montdor. And real Comté (not the one you find in supermarkets)! French cheeses.

(Strange, I don't know "Roulë". I'll take note and look around for some.)

Jenny Posted: Sep 9th 2007

It has to be Chedder, Goats Cheese, Brie and Wenslydale! :D

Joruus Posted: Sep 17th 2007

dan123 Posted: Dec 9th 2007

i like feta cheese

conty Posted: Dec 9th 2007

i love any cheese as long as its not got that green mould in it like stilton:)

cheese rules Posted: Dec 10th 2007

not just cause of dis gr8 show but cause it is legand

is der a new w&g film out soon

jills Posted: Dec 12th 2007

I'd have to go with the "everything that doesn't stink" reply. However, Kerrygold Cheddar and Wensleydale with cranberries is big on my list. I can eat Stilton if it doesn't look moldy (sorry Conty!) and if it has things like apricots or blueberries.

Springwizard, if you look in the right place, you can get any British cheese you fancy. There is more than one variety of Wensleydale at my local. (I used to live in Wales and hunted down all the good cheeses when I moved to the US) 8)

shaunfan101 Posted: Dec 14th 2007

My favourite cheese is red Chedder.
