Gromit is my favourite character out of all the Wallace & Gromit films. I really love him as he is smart,clever. I feel sorry for him sometimes as he has to put up with Wallace and his crazy inventions. Gromit saves the day.

He is reticent, patient, smart and sweet.

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII LOVE GROMIT

I absolutly LOVE Gromit(hence my profile name)mainly because like what most of you guys said; because he's clever,sensitive,sweet,loyal, and really cute.

And actually now that I think about it Wallace (you know) is sopossed to be the smart one with his inventions and all, but when something goes wrong (especially with one of his inventions) Gromit always seems to look over things that Wallce doesn't really "see" that in turn makes him MORE clever than Wallce and ends up saving the day. So in fact as much as Wallce is smart to some degree with his inventions; I guess you could say that Gromit is more likely the "brains" of the two of them than Wallace is (at least when it comes to trouble). Actually I could say that Wallce is more of a "doer", while Gromit is more of a "thinker"/"observer".

For example in "THE WRONG TROUSERS" Wallace takes Feather's in for a room without really suspecting anything because Feather's is too busy sucking up to Wallace. While Gromit on the other hand thinks that that "helping" that Feather's is doing seems to be very strange not to mention Feather's was always rubbing him the wrong way not just with strange glances but also having him kicked out of the house because he's not Wallace's "favorite" anymore. Anyway Gromit investigates further and finds he's (Feather's) is a jewel thief or just a thief in general and ends up saving the day again.

Well I guess you could say that's my REALLY long explanation for why I LOVE GROMIT. (No offense for people who love Wallace, I completly respect your opinion).
