Hey! What about Douglas - The man made from butter in the Lurkpak butter ads from the 1990's on commercial telly in the UK? They were HILARIOUS!!!!! I miss Douglas! He used to play a trombone - and annoy Penelope Keith whilst she was doing the posh voice.

OH! And the BBC3 idents!

AND the Cadbury chocolate characters that preceded Coronation Street until a year or so ago! All that brown plasticine made my mouth water - it was just like chocolate!
