dear Aardman staff what stop motion animation software do you use.
plus i think because Wallace and gromit have become such an icon to animation i think it would be good to bring out a Wallace and gromit stop motion software and camera or something cool like that, so people can make there own animations without the difficulty of choosing the software and the right camera.

Aardman Animations are not usually just made through a normal stop motion software, it's all advanced stuff to deal with huge images and costs thousands, perhaps millions, because of all the computers etc.!

However the idea of a 'make your own stop motion' kit could be very good!

Alot of animation studios just use a basic framegrabber, you can onionskin, see previous frames and playback. Corpse Bride was made with just basic programming for the animating stage. They had a little screen or mini-monitor where the animators could see their previous frame and onionskin between the live and stored frames.
