Use Plasticine! That's the best! It's soft and doesn't harden, allowing you to mould the characters into shape for the desired emotion. :D

ok thanx! what makes it so good?

tavo Posted: Jul 26th 2008

Hi there, I´m Tavo, does anyone have any tips on keeping plasticine clean while sculpting and animating?

iantimothy Posted: Jul 26th 2008

Mr Joe kid- I use van aken wich is really good, ive never used newplast though what makes them good, they never get hard they have very good colors and hey work real well for animating. Tavo- to keep it clean avoid putting your plasticine on dirty surfaces, use wax paper or something like that. Wash your hands before you start, and before you start to use a different color. hope that helps!
