Creamy, rich, dark, flavoursome, lucious...
At the moment of writing this, a piece of Green & Blacks Organic Fair Trade chocolate, 55% dark Maya Gold flavour, with a twist of orange, is melting in my mouth...
Who loves CHOCOLATE?

squigly Posted: Sep 19th 2008

the darker the better! (drool...)

PoisonIvy Posted: Sep 19th 2008

Ah, delicious... of course, if you get too dark it can be a bit overwhelming... 75% is extremely strong!
So far this thread as nothing at all to do with Wallace and Gromit, stop motion, animation, Aardman or modelling, so I'll fix this :

Do you think you could do a stop motion film with softened chocolate?

squigly Posted: Sep 19th 2008

Or....do you think Aardman should come out with a line of W&G chocolates?

jills Posted: Sep 19th 2008

No, and yes. Gromit's extra dark organic Wallace chocolate would just be a Yorkie.

squigly Posted: Sep 19th 2008

what's a Yorkie like? white chocolate?

jills Posted: Sep 19th 2008

It's a thick chunky bar with a graphic on the wrapper that signifies it's not for women, if you know what I mean.

squigly Posted: Sep 19th 2008

ah, googled it. the 'ol circle with a line through it.

if they made cheese flavored chocolate, that would be wallace's.

jills Posted: Sep 19th 2008

Yes, Gromit's chocolate would be sophisticated, but I think Wallace would go for something a bit cruder.

Cheese flavoured chocolate, oh dear! Well, maybe cheesecake with chocolate is ok, otherwise... :O

squigly Posted: Sep 19th 2008

lol...I can picture Gromit cutting his chocolate bar with a fork and knife. Very sophisticated.

okay, cheese flavored chocolate sounds weird...but Wallace goes bonkers for cheese.

jills Posted: Sep 19th 2008

Knife! Plate! Cracker! Cheesolate? Choceese? Hmm.... see what you think!

plasjas Posted: Sep 19th 2008

jills hi what are you up to today ive got to go so reply quickly

squigly Posted: Sep 19th 2008

plasjas Posted: Sep 19th 2008

eeeuurgh that sounds horrible lol

squigly Posted: Sep 19th 2008

i think jills has just gone to bed

Ursrut Posted: Sep 19th 2008

mmmm chocolate i like white chocolate.

squigly Posted: Sep 19th 2008

what do you think about a cheese flavored chocolate (or a chocolate covered cheese) for wallace?

Ursrut Posted: Sep 19th 2008

hmmm.... maybe i like cheese and i like chocolate not to sure how it would go together. It may actually be nice thinking about it. It would sure be calorific though.

PoisonIvy Posted: Sep 19th 2008

Well, you know how you get cheese fondue?
And you get chocolate fondue?
How about, cheese dipped in molten chocolate, or chocolate dipped in molten cheese?
mmm
Actually, I have to admit I used to think that cheese fondue WAS chocolate dipped in cheese... the things we think when we're young, eh?

Harry Posted: Sep 19th 2008

A YORKIE!! There Gorgeous! and there made in my town, the factory Nestle is right near where I live. So whenever I go past in the car I always smell that gorgeous chocolate. My Grandma worked there!

PoisonIvy Posted: Sep 19th 2008

mmm... I love dark chocolate. I like some Cadbury's chocolate, not really Nestle, but I like maltesers and Bounty bars, and Pascal (which is made by Cadbury) Curiously Strong peppermints. Green & Black's Organic Fair Trade chocolate is darn good. (http://www.greenandblacks.com/)
How come no one commented on my Chococheese bar? sniff.
I was in New Zealand last year, and on Easter Sunday we were in Dunedin, where the Cadbury chocolate Factory is. You go in and there's this display room, and a big bin of cacao seed things (what they make cocoa out of) that you can taste (don't). On most days you can go in and look around the factory, but we coulnd't coz of it being Easter Sunday. But we went into the display, and then we went and watched a movie there about making the chocolate, and got some free bits to try, and then... and THEN...
There are a few large silos which they store dried milk stuff in (normally they use fresh milk, but they have that stored there in case of shortage) but one of them they don't need any more. It's painted Cadbury purple and it has a chocolate waterfall in it...
You go around a sort of spiral staircase up inside the silo. At the top is a big container holding over one ton of chocolate... you stand at a platform at the top of the staircase, the tour guide pulls the lever and KAWOOSHK down comes Ye Olde Chocolate, plummeting down in front of you, over one ton of it, splattering across the railing of the staircase, encrusting there like a huge long lump of Aero chocolate... stand to close and get molten chocolate splattered on your face... mmmm... and then we went to this room and there were unwrapped Easter Eggs and wrappers, and you could wrap them up, and someone came out in a Cadbury Easter Bunny costume... fun...

cinders1 Posted: Sep 20th 2008

we have a cadburys chocolate factory in keynsham. my mum worked there when she first left school. ive still got a family member still working there but sadly the factory is due to close and go abroad:-(

Ursrut Posted: Sep 20th 2008

oh yeah.
On the way to my aunts they had one. They had to close down as well didn't they? I hope the family member does find a job and it's a good one.

PoisonIvy Posted: Sep 20th 2008

Heheh - new and improved!

PoisonIvy Posted: Sep 20th 2008

(I got a picture of a chocolate bar off the 'net, and used Micrografx Picture Publisher to mask the filling. I saved the mask, and loaded it on a picture of Wensleydale cheese, also from the net. I copied the contents of the mask and pasted them over the original, so that the cheese filling would match the shape...)

DancingShauny99 Posted: Sep 20th 2008

DancingShauny99 Posted: Sep 20th 2008

i like thorntons and galaxy

xIzzyx Posted: Sep 20th 2008

yeah they are brill. quite dear though

jills Posted: Sep 20th 2008

Very nice, PoisonIvy |-) I'd sample a Chococheese...

Wow, Harry, you get to sniff chocolate-in-the-making! I think I'd eat a ton more chocolate than I do if I lived near a factory. Cinders I'm sorry to hear that the one by you is leaving- it's really a shame :-(

I think Cadbury eggs are disgusting but I still enjoy eating one for sentimental purposes. When I was quite small, an uncle of mine that was in the Navy would magically pull one out of his ear and make me a present of it. He could wiggle his nose and ears, too

jordan Posted: Sep 20th 2008

yorks a city harry lol, i smell nestle too cause i live in york too!! on a hot day you can smell it in the town i live which is just outside of york itself.

jills Posted: Sep 20th 2008

I must move to a place like that...

squigly Posted: Sep 20th 2008

That's even better, PoisonIvy! Looks magically delicious! I'm pretty sure would sink his 12 teeth (4 up, 8 down) into a Chococheese bar if he knew it was made with Wensleydale cheese!!!

gromitlove Posted: Sep 21st 2008

12 teeth, lol!
Does Cadbury still make Flakies?

Chocachoc Posted: Sep 21st 2008

I love that choco cheese!

squigly Posted: Sep 21st 2008

I love your new logo, Chocachoc. Will you be using it on all your new animations?

Ursrut Posted: Sep 22nd 2008

I loved those Snow flakes. They is the only flakie i like.

PoisonIvy Posted: Sep 22nd 2008
