saw the Wrong Trousers first, then A Grand Day Out. I didn't like it. To me it was a letdown after watching The Wrong Trousers. It wasn't until just this past year that I finally watched A Grand Day Out again and I appreciated it more this time.
The first one I saw was Curse of the Wererabbit; I thought it was fabulous, and then a friend gave us the three early ones plus Cracking Contraptions. We have no TV, so we have to scramble in order to keep up.
Oops those darn house rules... oh well I'll never give my age out again, I mean ever. At all. Nuh-uh.
Anyway, I'm nearly fifteen (or is is sixteen?) thousand. No - ! Fourteen thousand nine hundred and fifty three. That's the blighter.
KLK, Please read the thread before you start scolding people. It says "What Was The First Wallace And Gromit Film You Saw And What Age Were You When You Saw It?"
Does it say to state your current age? Nooo...
Is anyone saying how old they are now? Nooo....
Please don't ruin an otherwise interesting thread. Thank you!
plasjas, i think what kuma_kuma is saying is that they like the peacefullness of AGDO so they hope that when they are dying that they are watching the movie (because of its peacefullness and people hope to be at peace when they die).
I must have been quite young - I'd seen A Grand Day Out and The Wrong Trousers many times before A Close Shave came out. I remember seeing that for the first time, I was so excited!
Wrong Trousers was the first. I was 33 and on a flight back from England to the US. I loved it, but lost touch back in the States. While in Italy in 1999, I saw W&G merchandise for sale in a store. Of course, I bought some and the love affair was renewed. I wasn't able to get the videos until "A Close Shave" came out. Since then, I have made it my mission to educate the South (Southern States of America) about my favorite cracking good friends!
