i seem to remember you said you had windows vista. Do you use SMP if you do then how do you Sync sounds as SSMP v 5 is not compatible with WMA only WAV

conty Posted: Oct 12th 2008

yes i do use smp but i use the v6 hd version and its compatible with vista.

you will have to get your computer to run the smp programme in xp on your vista computer, hope that helps plasjas:)

Nofby Posted: Oct 12th 2008

When I get to the shooting stage on The Sword, the Stone, a King (New title) I want to use SMP HD v7, but the version you have Conty is what...about £700? So it might get a bit over the notch. But I'll have to decide when I get to that stage.

animation boy Posted: Oct 12th 2008

you paid £700 for a program?
or was it a gift, a prize, etc.

Chocachoc Posted: Oct 12th 2008

i just got junior :)

plasjas Posted: Oct 12th 2008

yeah same but i am getting hd 6.5

Harry Posted: Oct 13th 2008

Chocachoc what features does Junior have. Does it have the feature where you can remove rigs by changing the frame, and does it have Onion skin. Please could you tell me what you can do with it, thanks!

Chocachoc Posted: Oct 13th 2008

I think it has both of those, it definately has onion skin, i use that all of the time, and you can also use greenscreen. It goes up to 15fps.

plasjas Posted: Oct 13th 2008

it goes up to 30 fps well my one does...strange. Yeah it has both those things but i will get hd cause it looks really good need to get saving ;)

Nofby Posted: Oct 13th 2008

Well, no , I wouldn't think so, they are the same program. It must go up to 15. Lol, are you old enough to spend over £600 on a program? It is quite expensive, I would get Educational or SD.

plasjas Posted: Oct 13th 2008

i thought the HD Studio was £600 the HD is like £400 isn't it

plasjas Posted: Oct 13th 2008

maybe i have educational ....hmmm

cinders1 Posted: Oct 14th 2008

i cant remember now how much i payed for smp v6 hd but we had a discount as contys still at school but it was still alot of money. between £200-£300 with the discount:)

Nofby Posted: Oct 14th 2008

Really! Nice one. How did you apply for the discount, how does it work?

conty Posted: Oct 14th 2008

ive noticed on the smp web site you can apply for the discount, but mum got the discount from the site that sells it, you have to send your birth certificate and a note from your school to confirm you are a student there. hope that helps nofby:)
