jordan Posted: Oct 22nd 2008

OH the election has taken over uk tv dunno why its not like were involved , its all about america on tv at the mo lol im so sick of turning on my TV and all it is , AMERICA THIS AMERICA THAT , ANOTHER AMERICA program.....Argh! what happened to UK programming !!

Chocachoc Posted: Oct 22nd 2008

You are horrible. America is the main part of world affairs. As they say, 'if america sneezes, UK catches the cold'. If there is a good president he will be able to sort out disputes within the world, eg civil wars, and sort out the crisis that is going on right now.

Don't you care about the future for you? Politics affects a huge part of our lives.

Chocachoc Posted: Oct 22nd 2008

Anyway, I would vote Obama. I like his way of thinking and taking care of the problem the world faces.

DancingShauny99 Posted: Oct 22nd 2008

I would vote McCain if I were american

jordan Posted: Oct 22nd 2008

i would vote Stewie Griffin For President!!!

prickly_hedgehog Posted: Oct 22nd 2008

i don't know if we should be talking about this on a wallace and grmit website...

thespazicat Posted: Oct 22nd 2008

prickly_hedgehog Posted: Oct 22nd 2008

vote mcain! palin power!

thespazicat Posted: Oct 22nd 2008

obama , end of subject.

prickly_hedgehog Posted: Oct 22nd 2008

obama has no experience, he has passed little or no laws

mcain has a lot of expierence, he's passed laws & was held in captivity for 6 years in a prison so he would know what to do with the war

666joshy666 Posted: Oct 22nd 2008

NO HE DOESN'T! HE WANT'S TO NUKE IRAN! HOW IS THAT KNOWING WHAT TO DO! THAT'S MANSLAUGHTER!!!

prickly_hedgehog Posted: Oct 22nd 2008

don't freak out!
who are you talkin about--obama or mcain?

prickly_hedgehog Posted: Oct 22nd 2008

"joshy"
i don't think anybody wants to nuke iran

plasjas Posted: Oct 22nd 2008

"He has no expierience"
1. Who really technically has "expierience" McCain has never been president so technically...has no expierience
2. Obama elected an older man to be his running mate so that argument is old news
3. It will not be just him in congress their will be a whole government

prickly_hedgehog Posted: Oct 22nd 2008

mcain has experience as in he has passed laws or stuff like laws and such but i don't get your points 2 and 3--what do they have to do with no experience?

plasjas Posted: Oct 22nd 2008

well i am basically saying even if he isn't as old as McCain who is 70 odd he doesn't need to be the only one with experience as he will have the experienced running mate and the whole american government

prickly_hedgehog Posted: Oct 22nd 2008

i'm sorry, i don't don't really want to argue about this anymore. :-(

plasjas Posted: Oct 22nd 2008

thespazicat Posted: Oct 23rd 2008

prickly_hedgehog Posted: Oct 23rd 2008

nobama! nobama! nobama!
but for all you pro-bama people here are some
obama jokes:
he can talk the talk but can he walk the barack? (say barack like bur-rock)
if you really like obama your most likely to have a barack attack (say barack like bar-rack)
barack obama will ba-rock your world

prickly_hedgehog Posted: Oct 23rd 2008

also, ben & jerrys came out with these new ice-cream flavors:
bar-rocky road
&
mc-candy cane

i'll try to get some pics of 'em up soon

xIzzyx Posted: Oct 23rd 2008

Mmmm ice -cream

jills Posted: Oct 23rd 2008

Prickly hedgehog are those flavours being sold now?

Plasjas that was a good point, this election is very important, but no matter what, it will be a huge relief to get the "W" out of Washington- I feel like if Bush can't win I can't lose

plasjas Posted: Oct 23rd 2008

lol

jills Posted: Oct 23rd 2008

Yer, I wish it was funny too :-(

Harry Posted: Oct 23rd 2008

plasjas Posted: Oct 23rd 2008

prickly_hedgehog Posted: Oct 23rd 2008

jills Posted: Oct 23rd 2008

thespazicat Posted: Oct 24th 2008

jills Posted: Oct 24th 2008

Apparently so does the UK immigration minister.

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/21/20081024/tuk-minister-hit-in-face-by-custard-pie-6323e80.html

Sorry, I know that's random/off-topic, although it is about a political figure and pie

iantimothy Posted: Oct 24th 2008

yum... pie

prickly_hedgehog Posted: Oct 26th 2008

well, the only thing you have to remember about elections is you really just vote for the one who promises the best but (once there president) how many promises will he ever bring out? ;)

koichi Posted: Oct 26th 2008

wow those are very logical things to think about prickly_hedghog

plasjas Posted: Oct 27th 2008

yes it's true not all candidates deliver what they promise;)

jills Posted: Oct 27th 2008

I'll be voting early as I sent off for an absentee ballot so I don't have to stand in the cold in line (the queue) hehe.
