Conty I saw Greedy Brown as I was in the middle of making Purple. Its really good, I looked through Youtube earlier today to get some ideas on what I will do for my animation. I am doing it with Green Screen too to make a Gradient effect on the backround, thanks for the comments on Purple. Also when I was looking at the videos on youtube I was just modelling little mistakes out for him, I have made three mouth shapes so far and the main thing I will concentrate in the animation is Blinking and Laughing(mouth movement) as I have not done much of either of them. Good luck on the thing your going to Conty, hope you will have a good time there.

ive got 3 guitars and a drum kit, my rooms full up with electrical stuff, cinders had the local firemen in the other day and they put a smoke decector in my room

It will be in quite a while squigly. As I am not happy. I cant find my webcam!! and without my webcam no animating, you will be able to see some pictures though of him ready for animation, have you got any Ideas of what I could do for a animation. Something Purple(and Brown) would do. Im thinking something messy. Mud, Laughing, Puddles. 
maybe something exploding and he gets covered in it or a bird messing on him, but i would try and keep it really simple if you are practicing on his mouth and eyes otherwise it gets too much and then its not fun to animate, if you know what i mean
I think I know what I am going to do.
Purple with a Brown Puddle beside him (and no its not what you think it is in there its Mud) and he jumps into it and it splashes all over him. Or he falls into it and gets all muddy with it in his eyes and then he shakes it off making his mouth move and his eyes blink, Maybe thats too hard for me, he could walk off the set then you hear strange noises and he comes on with his body shapes everywhere and he starts laughing. I think I might do that, dont think I need a storyboard, I will come back to this message if I forget!

Hehe, I think I am sticking with the last one though Ursrut, maybe the other 2 when I can do better animation, I think my brother will have to help me out when I am doing the Green Screen, he is a pro at that stuff, Wait a second, I could do the animation now! If I dragged the images in one by one by taking photos, ohh yeah! I might do that, but not the real one, I will just do a couple of blinks and a mouth movement, no sound though.
just a tip harry, they are really tricky characters to make walk and you dont want them to slide, try keeping your story without having to move the models apart from the face, or just falling over. you will save yourself a load of headaches
Ohh, Ok conty, hmmmm, What about him finding a skateboard and sliding off on that! That would solve the problem wouldnt it conty... Hehe I just thought of that out on the head! So quick idea! A giant Skateboard!
yes but i thought you said it was a practice on the mouth and eyes, a skateboard is a good idea but alot more work for only a lip sync test, but its up to you if you want to make it a bigger project
I will put a skateboard in on the real thing but now I am doing a test on the mouth and eyes. If thats what you were wondering...
yes thats what i would do for now, see if you can get the lips in sync first before you move on to your bigger project

Might go out and buy a new one today, aswell as my green screen paper!
I will be using it on my brothers computer, I dont know what he uses now but I think he has used Adobe After Effects trial before.

Cinders, I dont know if I mentioned that I didnt end up getting my webcam so I couldnt do my animation, I think I am going to buy a new one from the internet, I will proberly use it for MSN too with some school freinds, I think I might do that Squigly, if I do I will mention you in the credits, hehe. Shall I put Thanks to Squigly Digly for a great idea and help from Conty and Ursrut for getting me wanting to do it(conty and ursrut did that yesterday, its up there) I will proberly order a pack of brown for making Brown when I get my webcam. Ahhh this will be fun!
good luck harry, no you didnt say that you never got your web cam, have you looked at the uni brain fire-i web cam? it will cost you more than a tenner but its had some great reveiws for animation. im looking forward to your animation of purple and brown i think conty enjoyed his time on here yesterday morning he was laughing rather alot
Is the Unibrain Fire-i a webcam for Apple computers as I do not have a Apple computer, I was asking that as I saw it on the Apple store. Can it be used on vista?

yes your right ursrut and the new one can be used on vista just one thing before you buy any kind of camera quickly check with the animation software company (the software that your filming with) that its compatable
Thanks you 2. I think I might get the SMP trial when I get a webcam and see if I like it, if I do I might get the junior version of SMP.
contys pleased with smp, i know he has a problem with how the picture ends up, everything looks skinnier than it really is but he cant figure out why, his model of brown is better than in the movie, he looks fatter in real life
ive only used my SMP Standard Definition software once so far thats when i installed it teh otehr day !!!
i think youll find there is a version without onion skin etc for about £40, basic but it would do the job
i got conty the high definition v6, as i didnt want him to grow out of it (like he grows out of everything!!!) so that as he gets better he will be able to use the same software for the big screen, like film festivals etc if he wants to
