Nice pics everyone.

Ursrut, I like the shading on your dalek drawing. (Actually, it kind of looked like a guitar - the upper part of the neck - lol!)

PoisonIvy, why don't you post some of your drawings too.

I like to draw too. But lately I mostly doodle when I'm on the phone.

Ursrut Posted: Aug 27th 2008

Thanks. Looking at it know i can definitely see it.
You should see my books from school ( it was only towards the end of the year when the teachers stopped taking in the books, hence the fact i was caught) they have doodles in the middle and the back.

DS99, are you going to do more drawings? Have you checked out the How To Draw Wallace and Gromit on this site?
Crackingcheese, I like the playfulness of your last drawing, it's great!
Mud, you're really talented!

Here's my Gromit as master baker, which I just did, as practise for something ;)

DancingShauny99 Posted: Sep 9th 2008

I will check them out!

cavor Posted: Sep 9th 2008

I haven't been on this thread for a while been missing all these great drawings!!

Oh an jills your drawings have great style;)

plasjas Posted: Sep 9th 2008

jills those are brilliant, the action lines around gromit make it look actiony, if that is a word, you could be a story boarder for Aardman|-)

jills Posted: Sep 9th 2008

'Actiony' is a great word, in my opinion. Don't think I'm set for storyboarding, Plasjas, I am making a little effort to learn about form, though, so that I can draw action better for models I might want to make. I am working on one right now. I think the second one is better than the first so I'll stick it out.

Thanks for all the encouraging comments, everyone! it's great coming from such talented people.

DS99 the How To's are by the activity packs, if you didn't already find them. I thought them helpful and your Bitzer needs company ;)

Harry Posted: Sep 9th 2008

jills Posted: Sep 9th 2008

You found me out, Harry! I am always making Gromit ;) I started on a Lady Tottington but Gromit and the bunnies are taking over for now
