Rebel Posted: Feb 25th 2009

Cameronl Posted: Feb 26th 2009

and they also have a monthly slot in the BeanoMax!

Rebel Posted: Feb 27th 2009

Yes they have two posters with the beano characters that is it otherwise no it's RANDOM!

wandgfan21 Posted: Feb 28th 2009

well nick park was guest editor for the beano's 70th anniversary, he's been a fan him self for years. In response to your question cameronl yes i am still interested in the beano and have been for many years. I have also collected from various places all the beano annuals from 1968- present day, i just need to get the two 1940's editions, the 50's editions and 1960-67.

wallaceandcheese Posted: Feb 28th 2009

Do they still of a slot in the beanomax?

Crackingly Posted: Feb 28th 2009

I still read it!;)

crackingtoast Posted: Mar 1st 2009

i read it,but it's a bit boring sometimes. the annuals are always the best.

wandgfan21 Posted: Mar 1st 2009

yes the annuals are the best plus i think the beano has gone a little down hill as there have been a few of the old characters kicked out.

Chocachoc Posted: Mar 1st 2009

wandgfan21 Posted: Mar 8th 2009

yessss!!!!!! i now have another beezer annual to my collection! If you are too young to know this or have never heard of it click the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beezer
this old comic could not really compete as well as the beano but it has some great story lines. If you are are a fan of the old comic and the classic beano and dandy you many enjoy classics from the comics click here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classics_from_the_Comics

crackingcheese Posted: Mar 8th 2009

What Year Is It?

I have The 1967 and 1990

wandgfan21 Posted: Mar 8th 2009

the internet is literally covered with news http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/3518156.stm
Also if you enjoy many comic strips this may be the blog for you the guy also does the super school strip for the beano, this website is great for a comic fan.
by the way i am not trying to promote anything,i do not intend to promote this in any way other than to say what i have found.
here is the link for the blog http://lewstringer.blogspot.com/

Cameronl Posted: Mar 10th 2009

when i went to get the beano annual 1989 i saw beezer annuals in the front window but i did'nt know what it was! i might get one or two.:D

wandgfan21 Posted: Mar 10th 2009

yes they are interesting but if you want a good all round comic experience then i suggest classics from the comics which is only £2.00 a month and is a real bargain.;)

wandgfan21 Posted: Mar 15th 2009

cool, i think i am going to look for some 60's ones soon.

Cameronl Posted: Mar 15th 2009

how do u get ones that old

wandgfan21 Posted: Mar 17th 2009

well it is unlikely you will find one in a charity shop but you may occasionally se pre 1970's beano annuals at car boot sales. Your best bet is to look on ebay or similar sites for the older ones and if you want the first annual maybe even a proper auction.

Cameronl Posted: Mar 19th 2009

thanks wandgfan21:D

Cameronl Posted: Mar 22nd 2009

i got me 1990 and 1989 beanos yesterday

grometfan1 Posted: Mar 22nd 2009

brothers got annual

Cameronl Posted: Mar 22nd 2009

cool;)

wandgfan21 Posted: Mar 22nd 2009

i went to a car boot sale today hoping that i would find another beano annual or some more wallace and gromit memorabilia. more to clutter up my room but alas nothing to be found except what i already have:-(. Maybe i should try E-bay for the 1960's annuals.

Cameronl Posted: Mar 23rd 2009

There was a carboot sale where I live as well but i did,nt get to go to it at all!:-(
