WALLACE & GROMIT CHAT » HTTP://WWW.62WESTWALLABYSTREET.CO.UK
I think this is a good idea for advertising the site. Do you remember the scene at the end of a grand day out where wallace says "set co-ordinates for 62 west wallaby street!" and reads a cheese magazine. Well you could make a promotional video with that scene and replace the magazine with the Aardmag.![]()
but its the aardmag!
thats a great idea wandfan21
I'll see what I can do ![]()
The quote is used on the front page at the moment.
seb i am having trouble getting the aardman mag through email fae you i put my email in the email bit and nuthin is happening![]()

Ha ha just found this on your website hadn't seen it.
Check ursrut, it's on the website![]()
Maybe i should have made it a bit clearer i found it on seb's website or am i getting confused... i haven't seen it on this one.
Is it me or has Seb's site changed?
I know i was a bit confused by that as well.
Thought it was my computer...
hmmm... ![]()
Wondered who would be first to spot it!
Yes I'm having major problems with it, I think something my host has done. I worked on it all night yesterday and most of today so please bear with me and sorry for the delay.
It's fine, good things come to those who wait. Hope you get it fixed soon!
Yep!
So seb, When is the next issue of the aardmag and what's inside? Or is that secret?
Good luck Seb, hope you get things sorted soon!
I was going to announce it this past weekend W&GFan21 - but the problems I'm having has obviously held it up. As soon as I've got it working I'll turn my mind to announcing the next issue! It's looking good so far!!
And Cavor - thanks for the message, I have a horribly late reply to your last email sitting in my drafts folder and will send it as soon as I find 5 minutes to sit and properly check it through! I haven't forgotten you!!
Don't worry Seb you get the website sorted.
WE'RE BACK!!!
Oh thank goodness! Finally I've managed to fix the site!

And for the main site, as always, hop on over to http://www.62westwallabystreet.co.uk
See you there!
The site had huge tenchical problems - rather too complicated to explain (you'd be very bored!) - it involves lots of chmods, chowns, .htaccess files and more!
But glad you like it - and glad you enjoy the video! It's good fun every Monday to go around and find a new one to put up! ![]()
Just wondering seb, what film is the quote from? I have never heard that one in and aardman film before.
It's from Aardman's 'Sales Pitch' - it's an early one (from the 'Conversation Pieces' group of films that 'Creature Comforts' came from) but always one of my favourites. Perfectly captures every character.
You can find it on a popular video website... Or on the 'Aardman Classics' DVD, and if you haven't got that don't waste any time and get it now!
here's a suggestion seb. you know the Morph comic strip at the back of the magazine? (which is awesome,by the way). you should have a competion to enter you're own morph comic strips and the best ones appear in the mag! that would be quite cool
Well I do say on the page that if people make them I'll consider them all for publication!
This Month it's changing slightly, but I will bear that in mind. I'm putting a bigger push on sending things in for sure.
And thanks for the kind description of the comic! ![]()
Love the video as well. He he i love the aardman clock type thing in the Children's hospital.
Looking forward to the next mag already seb!
Yeah i have the aardman classics DVD. And then i got another one for my birthday on wednesday and it came with a nice little book all about aardman, its history and its awards ect.
Happy Birthday for wednesday wandgfan!

i dont mean to be rude but, im sorry but the quality of images is poor. surly aardman can kindly give you nice images?, for publication.
Well You Would Complain Wouldn't You Jordan... (Rolls Eyes In A Sarcastic And NON-HURTFUL Way)
I think they look ok. ![]()
The image quality is pretty much perfect!
I think someones caught a case of being green with envy!
Sorry I didn't get the Christmas piece up yesterday as promised, we had a power cut from 8am to 10pm so, while I was checking the forum on my iPhone, I couldn't actually access the Christmas files! It'll be up later today!
But @Jordan - you made that comment before (and, I think it fair to say, did mean to be rude in the survey) and offered to make your own version of one of my previous articles so I could see how you think it should be made. I sent over the text, but I never heard back from you? I presumed this meant a change of mind? If not I'd still be very pleased to see it as highly constructive criticism.
And, of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinions but I think it worth pointing out that some of the images are not of such high quality because they are old films and the cameras were not as good.
The photos from 'A Matter of Loaf and Death' are crisp and fine, but I accept that the ones from older films are not as sharp. The difference in quality of photos on Issue 1's front cover proves this.
I personally see it as a positive that I choose to still print the photos from older films so we can enjoy them, while other magazines might only use images from more recent films.
And I just want to be clear as well - Aardman do a huge amount for me, I can't thank them enough (especially Katie!), so there is no question of wishing Aardman would do more.![]()
college is really busy 4 projects on the go , and then including my own projects, i will get around to it at some point ![]()
Yay ! Subject change ...
Aardmag #2 launches in 25 minutes - at 8:30pm!! Get ready!
yay!![]()
20 mins!
