Wallace and Gromit were welcomed to Number 10 Downing Street today along with five children from King’s College Hospital as Tony Blair showed his support for Wrong Trousers Day.

Mr Blair said:
"I am delighted to support Wallace and Gromit's Children's Foundation and encourage organisations and individuals to team up across the country to support Wrong Trousers Day 2007."

Wallace and Gromit's Children's Foundation was established to improve the quality of life for children in hospices and hospitals throughout the UK. The Wrong Trousers Day event raised £750,00 for its chosen causes in 2006 and is set to exceed this in 2007 with over 250,000 people already signed up. velyogendra Posted: Oct 23rd 2007

Well, if Wallace was a world leader, he could invent a device to nutralize all weapons and bombs. But then something would go wrong! And Gromit would have to save the world! What would be nice is Wallace could make "Wensleydale" the official cheese of the UK.

funkycheese7000 Posted: Oct 23rd 2007

Yeah. I wonder if Wallace told Tony Blair that Wendlydale should be on the English flag, and Tony passed the message on to Gordon Brown?! :hw_candy_lolly:
