(LOCK THIS THREAD IF IT IS NOT APPROPIATE)

I have been inspired by HTprod's(crackingtoast)to make a live action film(To put on Youtube). But I don't know where to start in terms of genre,storyline,characters etc. (Because my ideas are always so far fetched lol)

I would like it to be a mixture of SCI-FI, Action and Adventure and simple to film.

NOTE: I do not want people to make the story I would just like people to give rough ideas.

To start off, You have to decide what you want to show in your film ( e.g a morale, it could be a spoof of something ).

Once you have done that make a rough idea in your head and develop it until you are happy.

Although its not an animation still draw rough sketches and pics etc..

I have 2 ideas about a Doctor Who series

- The Doctor regenerates in to a 14 year old
- A series about The Doctors Teenage life

And ideas about a series simalar to 'The impressions show' and 'Dead Ringers'

I Always Wanted To Do A Series About The Doctor While He's A Teenager On Gallifrey Too,But I'll Have To Wait Till I'm About 14. I Think You Should Do That Idea Because It's Not Something Anyones Done Before.

Any idea's for what kind of film locations could be used for the planet, galifrey?

I Would Use Big Hills. In My Place,There Is A Big Hilly Place With Orange Plants And Stuff Which Is Perfect. Try And Find Something Like That.

I think it should be more of a desolate place. Gallifrey shown in the new Dr Whos shows a vast desert with citadels. Also, if you look back at the colin baker episodes Gallifrey is a very desolate landscape. It wouldnt have much vegetation

Well,Jamie My Location Has Alot Of Orange Stuff Which Makes The Surface Look Orange. And Also,That's Just Last Of The Timelords And Trial Of A Timelord. Using A Bit Of Imagination,I'm Sure Some partS Of Gallifrey Would Have Vegetation,Not Just The Mountains We've Seen In The Series.

I would suggest a field or a large hilly area. Somewhere with a lot of space.

And yes CT, in one of Tom Bakers earlier episodes (the Android Invasion, i believe) the doctor mentions some of the vegetation on his homeplanet, so yes, there will be a variety of plants.

Any ideas for storyline?, I have no idea where to start. I only really have my self as an actor plus one friend lol

Theirs Only Me And Paul Playing The Doctor And Bob And Playing All The Monsters Aswell,With Occasional Guest Stars As Human Characters Two Or Three Times,But It Seems To Have Been Enough To Inspire You! You're Really Creative,So I'm Sure An Idea Will Come To You. Though P&B's Idea Is Great!
