I don't know. I just simply called them Wizard, Snowman and Penguin.

Are you planning on using blue screen again?

No way, although that is probably my best use of green screen!

...or chroma key or blue screen, whatever you call it.

I hate chroma key!! Just thought I'd share that with you, never again will I shoot in Chroma key not unless I get a chroma key studio!! lol!
I did shoot some plane shots in GR2 with chroma key but it looked terrible, took me about a month of work and they all got cut!!!
Anyway good luck with the film! Great characters!
I've always wanted to do an xmas animation just never had the chance and know that I'm behind schedule in GR3 xmas 2009 will not host a xmas animation by myself!!

Green screen is quite tricky do to lighting and things like that

I've Chroma Key To Show The Outside Of Windows,Which Looked Fine,And I've Used It On Wallace's Prison,i managed to get the lighting right on that so it worked,but once i used it for the whole town as a background. phew! never again!

i tried but gave up after 30 seconds... shadows grrr...

Only done about 2 seconds because i've been teaching my little brother how to do animation, he's made an animation of his own but it's not quite finished.

A Magic Christmas 2 update:

Animation quite jerky due to trouble with lip syncing. Also audio is'nt to good either. Anyone know how to make the audio better, because it was really clear when I put it in to stop motion pro at first.

that was pretty cool! animation was a bit jerky though...... i love animating, the thing of it is that i can 20 seconds of animation done in an hour, but only about half of that is what i am actually looking for you know?

I know it's a bit jerky 'Animation quite jerky due to trouble with lip syncing' like I said, frames went all over the place as i've never lip synced before.

1 and a bit minutes of the animation done, a bit more to go.

Synopsis:

The Wizard and Snowman are in Santa's Workshop and are watching a security tape of the wizard granting the snowman's wish, which was to have a magic christmas (which would mean the snowman being in a nice, cosy house). But the penguin appears out of no where armed with a gun and threatens to shoot the wizard and snowman. The Wizard freezes time with his wand but can only hold it for a few seconds. They happen to have landed in Stanley and Spanner's house and unluckily for Tapaz he walks in at the wrong moment and get's shot in the leg by the same penguin which had been helping with the job of fixing the car in 'Car Trouble' so he was in shock. The Wizard, Snowman and Santa's Advisor/Head elf are determained to solve the mystery of is it just this one penguin that is causing so much trouble or could it be someone or something else?

Now where did you get the idea for an evil penguin from?

Yes, inspired by wallace and gromit, lol and also because it's a christmas animation

I've been re-arraging stuff a bit in my room, it now looks a lot bigger so that means i'll have more room to animate in. Although the set might look like it's moved, but that is easily sorted.

When re-arraging my room I misplaced my firewire cable so production has been halted until I find it
