This is my studio update thread. The name is MS studios where S and M stand for two separate things, one: they are my the initials of stop motion and two: they are my initials.

Projects

I am currently working on an animation, Curtains about a dog called Gruff who sings. I am still writing this although I have created the character. It will be about 5 mins long.

UPDATE:
I completed the animation a couple of weeks ago and although I am desperate to show you, I can't until August as it has been entered as part of my GCSE coursework. I can't tell you what happens as it would ruin it. However here are a couple of screen prints of the animation. (see posts lower down.)

I have developed the character now so that he has removable mouths and his head can be taken off to sculpt. I have also made a full body model and a half body for close up shots.

No not really, just a hook to keep the head in place . The name has changed to MS Studios!! I found SM studios too.... clinical :/

GLB - picture removed, but we can't change the thread titles I'm afraid. You'd have to create a new one to change the title..

P&b- I forgot to take one! However, I will be getting it back out of storage soon so I will take a picture then. The mouths were changed halfway through filming (not in a shot however) and look much better. Compare the first picture with the last picture for example. I'll take a photo of the new mouths in the next two weeks.

UPDATE
The animation was marked by my teacher and I got an A* for it. It is now with the WJEC (The Welsh Joint Education Committee- the welsh exam board) for moderation. I ma hoping to show it soon to you and I'm sure you'll like it. As for Gruff- there are more ideas in the pipeline for him. After my exams though of course

Dang it.. Anyone know how to buy a licence for music? Or how to put it on youtube without copyright conflict?

It depends how long the clip is. If its under about 20 secs then Youtube won't mind. You'll find that sometimes artists will post advertisements on your video and make money off of you.

Wha ha ha ha, I kinda guess that 12th November came and went. (I can't remember why I didn't post it). Well, that just means that I will have to set it to the 11/2/11 because this is also the day when I will launch my new weebly site ;D.

Oh- hang on, I remember why I didn't upload it!! The audio quality once uploaded was awful so I'm creating a new file with much better audio levels etc. Should be complete by the 11th. *touches wood*
