A rig is the technical term for a piece of apparatus that, in puppet animation, supports the puppet or a prop during filming. Many studios use devices such as Climpex, which includes a range of stands, scaffold clamps,tubing, bulldog clamps, crocodile clips and camera mounts and adaptors.
