Content Moderation
Discussion topics on the site are moderated. Moderators will remove any content they feel:
• Is Likely to cause offence to other people
• May cause legal problems
• Will reveal personal details that could endanger personal safety
• Cannot be moderated due to language restrictions. Posts containing languages other than English may be removed. Common greetings and salutations in languages other than English may be acceptable.
Prohibited Content
Please do not add any of the following content to the site. Moderators will remove messages which:
• Are likely to disrupt, provoke, attack or offend others
• Areracist, sexist, homophobic, sexually explicit, abusive or otherwise objectionable
• Contain swear words or other language likely to offend
• Breaks the law or condone or encourage unlawful activity. This includes breach of copyright, defamation and contempt of court.
• Advertise products or services for profit or gain
• Are seen to impersonate someone else
• Include contact details such as phone numbers, postal or email addresses
• Contain links to other websites which are not in-keeping with the discussion topic
• Describe or encourage activities which could endanger the safety or well-being of others
• Are considered to be ‘spam’, that is posts containing the same. or similar, message posted multiple times
• Are considered to be off-topic for the particular message board
• Have links to chatboxes - we can't guarentee the content or the users
Online Safety
• Never give out your contact details (eg real name, telephone number, address)
• Be wary – people you meet online may not be who they seem. They can information about themselves which may be false and misleading
• Don’t give too much detail – take care when giving out information that could help someone locate you.
• Tell us if you are worried. If another user is abusive to you or makes you feel uncomfortable, you should contact us at abuse@aardman.com . Please explain the situation as clearly as you can, so that we can investigate the situation if necessary.

Copyright enables the owner to prevent someone else from using their work without permission or passing it off as their own. Generally speaking, when someone creates something - from a painting to a restaurant review - they have legal ownership of the copyright unless or until they sell or give those rights away.
