You mentioned it on one of the threads and I just remembered. Hope you had a good day :)

VincentAnimations01 Posted: Aug 2nd 2010

Well production is in full flow! Been making a few props today! Already reached the 1 minute mark which is great! Yeah, should be ready for 'fall' as they say in America!;)

Below: animating brand new redesigned carrot! Notice the little daisies on carrots feet, a new feature on all the new vege!
Tomato has also somehow grown legs!
:D

iantimothy Posted: Aug 2nd 2010

I love the redesign! Did he have the little marks on the leaves before? I would love to see the the tomato!

Clay Fighter Posted: Aug 3rd 2010

I love the leaves on his head, they are so detailed!
it looks amazing as always!

VincentAnimations01 Posted: Aug 3rd 2010

Thanks! Yeah the markings have always been there, I just decided to make them a bit more prominent! The leaves are a lot more animated this time, every movement of Carrot causes his leaves to sway around! I'll upload Tomato shortly!

Clay Fighter Posted: Aug 4th 2010

WOW!!
That sounds great that they move, it will definately make it more life like!

VincentAnimations01 Posted: Aug 9th 2010

Just got back from a local allotment. I've not been to the allotment for years, its sort of where I first got the idea for green roots - so it was great to go back. Been doing some observational drawing/painting to help me in the future for Green Roots (Below). One thing I did notice is how over grown and vegetated they are. I've not animated since last Thursday, been so busy! (sort of at a stand still) Though I'm still confident I'll release Green Roots 4 in Sept/Oct.
In the next few months I will have to send applications for universities so I'm busy building my portfolio, which is a kinda book I'm making with loads of pictures, text etc from the past five years of my animations. Which in itself is a small project! On top of all this I've just started to learn to drive! :O:D

Clay Fighter Posted: Aug 9th 2010

They are amazing VA!!

mmasonghi studios Posted: Aug 10th 2010

Cool!
Neet!
ZOO WE MAMA!

VincentAnimations01 Posted: Aug 15th 2010

I've shot just over 1:20 and its looking great! As I said earlier this episode is set at night which is taking longer. This episode combines the humour and story of Green Roots 2 with the improved animation/lip sync of Green Roots 3. In this one the action starts pretty much straight away! Again lots of rig using, I did the first rig shot last Thursday and it looks great, even better than the RC plane flying rig from Green Roots 2. I'm coming up to a very difficult scene soon involving several rigs and post production effects (which I am still working out how to do!), but if all goes to plan it should look great!
Anyhow, here is your first sneak peak of Green Roots:
Potato, Corn and Tomato (with legs)
(ignore the TV safe zone)

mmasonghi studios Posted: Aug 15th 2010

Cool! ;)

Purple&Brown Posted: Aug 16th 2010

Amazing Vincent, absolutely amazing!!

VincentAnimations01 Posted: Aug 16th 2010

P&B, where have you been! Not seen you around for ages!?;)

Purple&Brown Posted: Aug 16th 2010

Oh I've been here, looking through the messages, just hadn't had the time to reply to all the great threads. Just landed from my holiday this morning so I thought I could have a bit of time to reply.

Cannot wait for GR4! I have got a few ideas in the mind myself after being on holiday, great wildlife!

Ursrut Posted: Aug 16th 2010

P&B glad to see you again!
GR is looking great.

Purple&Brown Posted: Aug 16th 2010

Clay Fighter Posted: Aug 17th 2010

THEY LOOK AMAZING!
I am loving Tomatoes legs ;)

VincentAnimations01 Posted: Aug 17th 2010

Great to hear P&B!
Thanks guys!

VincentAnimations01 Posted: Aug 31st 2010

Everything is going swimmingly!!
2:40 mins done out of the final 3:00/4:00 projected!
Should be done by late October!!
Onto the final scene and then of course lots of post production, I'll probably finish shooting at the end of September!
Heres the latest sneak peak picture for you all!

Clay Fighter Posted: Aug 31st 2010

hmm...Looks 'interesting'
Thats great that its coming along so well!
CANT WAIT!

womble1 Posted: Aug 31st 2010

looks amazing can't wait

VincentAnimations01 Posted: Sep 13th 2010

Ok, well the films nearly done!
Just need to shoot one more scene (about 5 seconds) then a bit of tweaking here and there! Then done!! Should be up hopefully next week!
Its looking mighty fine!
I'm afraid Pumpkin and Marrow are not in this episode. The whole story revolves around Carrot, Tomato, corn and a few others!
Hope you all like it!:)

Clay Fighter Posted: Sep 14th 2010

aww, oh well, Cant wait!

Chocachoc Posted: Sep 14th 2010

It all looks very exciting! I cant wait to see it :D
