kldceltic Posted: Jul 14th 2010

queen i want to break free

I want to break free
I want to break free
I want to break free from your lies
You're so self satisfied I don't need you
I've got to break free
God knows, God knows I want to break free
I've fallen in love
I've fallen in love for the first time
And this time I know it's for real
I've fallen in love, yeah
God knows, God knows I've fallen in love
It's strange but it's true
Hey, I can't get over the way you love me like you do
But I have to be sure
When I walk out that door
Oh how I want to be free, baby
Oh how I want to be free
Oh how I want to break free
But life still goes on
I can't get used to living without, living without
Living without you by my side
I don't want to live alone, heyGod knows, got to make it on my own
So baby can't you see
I've got to break free
I've got to break free
I want to break free, yeah
I want, I want, I want, I want to break free
Ooh yeah
I want to break - yeah eah

One Vision lyrics

One man one goal one mission,
One heart one soul just one solution,
One flash of light yeah one god one vision.
One flesh one bone,
one true religion,
One voice one hope,
One real decision,
Wowowowo gimme one vision.
No wrong no right,
I'm gonna tell you there's no black and no white,
No blood no stain,
All we need is one world wide vision.
One flesh one bone,
one true religion,
One voice one hope,
One real decision,
Wowowowo gimme one vision.
I had a dream,
When I was young,
A dream of sweet illusion,
With a glimpse of hope and unity,
And visions of one sweet union,
But a cold wind blows,
And a dark rain falls,
And in my heart it shows,
Look what they've done to my dream.
So give me your hands,
Give me your hearts,
I'm ready,
There's only one direction,
One world one nation,
Yeah one vision.
No hate no fight,
Just excitation,
All through the night,
It's a celebration wowowowo yeah.
One flesh one bone,
one true religion,
One voice one hope,
One real decision.
Gimme one night,
Gimme one hope,
Just gimme,
One man one man,
One bar one night,
One day hey hey,
Just gimme gimme gimme
Fried chicken.

Radio I'd sit alone and watch your light
My only friend through teenage nights
And evrything I had to know
I heard it on my radio

You gave them all those old time stars
Through wars of worlds - invaded by mars
You made em laugh - you made em cry
You made us feel like we could fly
Radio

So don't become some background noise
A backdrop for the girls and boys
Who just don't know or just don't care
And just complain when you're not there
You had your time you had the power
Youve yet to have your finest hour
Radio

All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio goo goo
Radio ga ga
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio blah blah
Radio what's new?
Radio someone still loves you

We watch the shows - we watch the stars
On videos for hours and hours
We hardly need to use our ears
How music changes through the years

Lets hope you never leave old friend
Like all good things on you we depend
So stick around cos we might miss you
When we grow tired of all this visual
You had your time you had the power
Youve yet to have your finest hour
Radio

All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio goo goo
Radio ga ga
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio goo goo
Radio ga ga
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio blah blah
Radio what's new?
Someone still loves you

Radio ga ga
Radio ga ga
Radio ga ga
Radio

You had your time you had the power
Youve yet to have your finest hour
Radio

:)

Clay Fighter Posted: Aug 17th 2010

At the moment my favourite song is Africa by Toto !
It is amazing!:D

SockEyeSalmon Posted: Aug 17th 2010

Clay Fighter - it is an amazing song indeed! I have it on a cassette called American Heartbeat, which was out in the early part of the 1980's (long, long before your time! ) when your average Walkman played tapes. It's one of the few classic tracks from the 1980's that really floated my boat big style.

Africa has got a timeless quality about it. I bet you knew that the group, Toto, was named after Dorothy's little dog in The Wizard of Oz!

I have to say, I'm impressed with the range of musical tastes on this thread. As for The Kinks classic track You Really Got Me Going is funky in the extreme, 05!

Crumbs, my favourite music - it would take a ream of pages to list everything because my tastes are varied and wide. I think I might have mentioned some of my musical tastes in previous threads on our beloved website...

Clay Fighter Posted: Aug 18th 2010

Yeah, i love how they are named after dorothy's dog!

Banjo Boy Posted: May 17th 2012

I'm with you, iantimothy! I love Grandpa Jones too. You know he refused to learn Scruggs-style picking? He just played clawhammer! Lots of banjoists did that. Anyway, I'm a huge fan of Earl Scruggs and Steve Martin, both banjo players. I think my favorite song would have to be "Foggy Mountain Breakdown", but I like the version from the Dillards (Darlings on "The Andy Griffith Show") better than the Foggy Mountain Boys' version. Anybody else like bluegrass?!? (Country's entirely different)

LoveShaun19 Posted: May 17th 2012

Christian rock Artist, Steve Taylor is my favorite.

Banjo Boy Posted: May 18th 2012

Is that picture of Steve Taylor a bust?

wallace05man Posted: May 19th 2012

Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer (guess where i first heard that)

Ozzy Osbourne - Time
The Beatles - She Said

wallace05man Posted: May 19th 2012

Status Quo - Pictures Of Matchstick Men

LoveShaun19 Posted: May 19th 2012

@banjo boy, No he's just squatting down.. if you look closely, you can see his feet. The picture is at an odd angle. Here's a better veiw.  ( These pictures are actually old. He's retired from being a singer, he was the producer for another Christian band, " The Newsboys". I think he still is, but now he also produces Christian movies. His latest production is called ' Blue like Jazz" I beleive, although I haven't seen any of his movies yet.)
