Back in November, Wallace & Gromit called on the nation to invent, build and film a wacky labour-saving device to help Wallace in his everyday life. You entered in your hundreds and after a tough round of short-listing 20 went through to an expert panel of judges.

The panel including Nick Park and co-founder of Aardman David Sproxton were left with the tricky decision of picking the winners, which we are now excited to announce!

John from Gloucester’s “Wallace’s Wake Up Alarm” was chosen as the overall winner, winning the chance to have himself or his contraption featured in an up-coming Aardman production (watch this site for more details!)

The judging team also selected two runner-ups, “Where’s the Sprout, Gromit?” by Freddy and “Punchomak” by James. Each will be awarded with a signed copy of the Wallace & Gromit World of Inventions book.

Well done to everyone that took part! To find out more about the competition and view more entries, visit:

What would wallace do without gromit. He's so over worked an anvil fell on him. Wallace just seems so happy, lol. Congratulations everyone! One day I want to fly over to the continent. Than I'd still get made fun of, lol!
