Nick Park, the four-time Academy Award-winning creator of Shaun the Sheep, officially opened the Championsheeps Live event at the Eden Project earlier this week.

Championsheeps Live is a sports day with sheepy twist! The whole family can take part in hilarious activities including space hopper races, cabbage football keepie-uppie, and a farmyard assault course. The event is running at the Eden Project until May 2nd.
Nick met visitors as they tried out the farmyard-style sports day themed around Shaun the Sheep. He also helped create some clay models with children for the Sheep Shape activity and watched as families took part in Shirley sheep space hopper races, cabbage football keepy-uppy, a farmyard assault course and a naughty pigs sack race.
He said: "This is my first time at Eden and it’s brilliant to be here. Championsheeps is great fun and it has been a perfect match working with the Eden Project. Lots of imagination and inventiveness have gone into creating this Shaun the Sheep-based Olympics!"
Nick was also at Eden to promote a new book he has illustrated, Green Poems for a Blue Planet, by Martin Kiszko. The duo read extracts from the anthology and signed copies of the book.
