LATEST NEWS » WALLACE & GROMIT CELEBRATE THE JUBILEE WITH THE NATIONAL TRUST!
Wallace & Gromit have teamed up with the National Trust for a summer of celebration kicking off with special Diamond Jubilee events on Monday 4th June!
The inventive pair will be hanging the bunting in preparation for over 70 Jubilee tea parties held across the country, where they will be featured in a brand new one minute animation; 'Wallace & Gromit’s Jubilee Bunt-a-thon'. Busy preparing for the big Jubilee weekend, the animation shows our loveable duo decorating a magnificent National Trust manor.
This new short animation will be shown at the events across the country, alongside behind the scenes footage, other Wallace & Gromit classic films and a host of fun activities! There will even be Aardman model makers teaching you how to make a Gromit out of clay.
For more information on the National Trust’s Jubilee events and how you can get involved, visit the National Trust website.

30 people contributed to making the animation
500 hours were taken to complete it, from storyboard to post production
60 metres of bunting were used to decorate West Wallaby Street and the National Trust manor
30 kilograms of modelling clay was used
...and 8 hours were spent brushing the grass on set with a fork to get it looking just right!

Amazing!
it's not Peter Sallis doing the voice anymore then?
this is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The time taken to perfect everything is just outstanding.
The Aardman team are A-maz-ing!

When's the next w&g film coming out
@samuelhayward i'm pretty sure that is peter sallis
I think it's definately the person who does the games, though I aggree he matches it very well, considering he doesn't have a northern accant. If you listen to it he is very, what's the word? Restrained if you know what I mean, in his throat, as if he's trying to match Peter Sallis.
Well that is pretty much the update at which Wallace and Gromit are doing. Never thought they'd bring them back to Tottington Hall... and as usual, Gromit, doing all the work....
lad
aaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwww I cant wait to see it where can you view the video???

Looking forward to the full show, so good to see then back on film.

Behind the scenes of the making of the National Trust video
i don't think it's the voice in the games, the one i the game is much lower. I would bet £10000000 that it is Peter Sallis
