After the National Trust held some cracking Jubilee parties across their properties and lots of you took part in Gromit model making workshops, we held a competition to find the best Gromit model makers amongst you!
We asked Jim Parkyn, one of Aardman's head model makers and chief Gromit workshop instructor, to judge the entries. It was a tough decision, but We're pleased to announce the following 5 winners, who will each receive a National Trust Pass and Wallace & Gromit DVD:
You can see the winners pictured left to right above, with comments from Jim below!
BK123: "A very Well proportioned Gromit with good ears"
MissLiberty: "A very nice gromit - well put together. He looks quite young, like when he was a pup!"
ohabbyreally: "A well proportioned Gromit with a good face!"
ArlenM: "I think technically this is the best Gromit of the group. Very well done!"
Piggy199: "A lovely family group and team effort. Each Gromit has bags of character!"
Well done to everyone that took part, the standard was very high and Jim was very impressed with your entries! We will be in contact with the winners shortly to arrange your prizes to be delivered.
If you've been inspired to make your own models, why not enter them into our creations competition for the chance to win some cracking prizes each month!
