I'm planning a trip to the UK at the end of the summer, and would love to see a Wallace & Gromit or Aardman exhibit at a museum if such a thing exists?  Any recommendations?

Hello Hillwalker!
There are lots of things going on in the UK in the next few months! Check out the news sections of the forums:

Also here are some details I had to hand:

If you’re in Bristol over the next 10 weeks you would be able to come and see Gromit Unleashed – a trail of 80 giant Gromit statues customized by artists from around the globe! You can find out more at

As well as the trail, there is a fun museum called At-Bristol ( which has an excellent hands-on animation exhibit, which will tell you everything you need to know about Aardman and animation! They will also be hosting Gromit model making workshops every Thursday and Saturday throughout the summer holidays!

You can also see some Wallace & Gromit sets and exhibits at the brand new Gromit Unleashed shop at The Mall, Cribbs Causeway:

If Birmingham is nearer for you, there is a fabulous Aardman Pirates exhibition at the Think Tank museum:!+In+an+adventure+with+Scientists

If you’re in the north of the country, Rheged are running an “Art of Wallace & Gromit” exhibition this summer:

Just as a little extra, Blackpool is home to Wallace & Gromit’s first ever roller coaster, the Thrill-O-Matic!  There’s also a cracking Aardman shop that sells cheese-flavoured rock!
