Exciting news from the world of Shaun the Sheep! Shaun's Game Academy is launching this May, giving YOU the chance to make your very own games with Shaun. Launched in partnership with the Nominet Trust, Shaun's Game Academy trains you in the basics of game design then lets you loose on Scratch, a free creative platform for making games that has been designed especially with children and young people in mind.

Making games might seem hard, but this fun and educational tool will provide you with all the know-how you need to get to grips with game design. You'll get to play around with the 'real' Shaun, using fully licensed Aardman props and assets, but when it comes to how you use them, the choice is all yours - it's an opportunity to come up with completely fresh challenges and environments, and design a game in your own unique style.

Not only will you get to learn lots as you design your game, but your finished game will be entered into a competition with a great prize up for grabs. The winners will get to come and have an awesome day at Aardman Animations HQ, and an expert games team will help you make your winning game even better!

So, if you're up for a challenge and ready to put your game design ideas into production, head over to the Shaun's Game Academy website now. You can register now to make sure don’t miss any of the action when Shaun’s Game Academy opens on May 12th 2014.
