Who thinks that Aardman and Pixar are the best filmmaking companies ever?!:D

jordan Posted: Feb 8th 2008

i agree, dreamworks is going down the tubes! (maybe a Flushed Away joke there??)

Mark the shark Posted: Feb 8th 2008

Yes, I agree. DreamWorks are going down the drain! (There's another one!);)

Mark the shark Posted: Feb 9th 2008

Hey, I think Pixar might be in trouble because some company has ripped them off of their new movie, Ratatouille. Some lazy Brazilian company has made a direct-to-DVD film called Ratatoing which is 44 mins long and has the poorest CG quality I've ever seen! And it is about a rat that cooks! I'm surprised Pixar hasn't been to court about this! From the first moment I saw it in my ASDA shop, I knew Pixar had to do something!:O

jordan Posted: Feb 9th 2008

PIXAR wont be in trouble they will, they also ripped off cars,

Harry Posted: Feb 9th 2008

Joruus Posted: Feb 9th 2008

I think thera are many good filmmaking companies.

For me the best is Lucasflim Ltd. >:-)

Mark the shark Posted: Feb 10th 2008

Lucasfilm is great! Star Wars rocks! It's a shame they ain't making any more!:'(

Harry Posted: Feb 10th 2008

I Only Really Like Pixar And Aardman, Disney And Dreamworks Are Ok, Eg. Shrek Was Good

Mark the shark Posted: Feb 10th 2008

Yeah, but DreamWorks are going dooooooown. I mean, have you seen Bee Movie? Man, it sucks!!!:OThere are only two animated films that I've hated and Bee Movie is one of them!:O

Harry Posted: Feb 10th 2008

Mark the shark Posted: Feb 10th 2008

aardman won for best animated tv Creature Comforts America

Mark the shark Posted: Feb 10th 2008

You LIKED Bee Movie?! Ratatouille was absoutley phenomanal. I think that's one of the best films I've seen. It's also nominated for 5 oscars:
Best Animated Feature
Best Sound Editing
Best Sound Mixing
Best Original Score
Best Original Screenplay!:D

jordan Posted: Feb 10th 2008

Mark the shark Posted: Feb 10th 2008

Ratatouille is definately worth your while? If you live in UK, Ratatouille comes out on DVD tomorrow! Bee Movie just isn't worth your while though!:D

squigly Posted: Feb 10th 2008

I can't beleive Ratatouille is only being released on DVD in the UK tomorrow. It's been out on DVD in the US for at least 3 months.:O

anti-pesto Posted: Feb 10th 2008

so u live in the US? quite interesting 2 no how long something comes out on DVD 4 compared 2 the US

squigly Posted: Feb 10th 2008

In the US, it seems like movies go to DVD about 6 months (average) after it's released on the big screen. Depends on how long the movie stays at the theaters.

jordan Posted: Feb 10th 2008

well i belive you have south park season 10 -11 dvd

we got 1,2,5 already

then in march we get 3,4,6 its daft

squigly Posted: Feb 10th 2008

Just checked Netflix. Season 10 is out already but it's unknown when 11 will be released to DVD. I wonder why the UK is so far behind in distribution?

Mark the shark Posted: Feb 10th 2008

Ewern Posted: Feb 19th 2008

Ardman and Pixar are pretty great film industries, although I would not want Ardman to sign a contract with Disney.

Mark the shark Posted: Feb 19th 2008

Yes, I agree, Ewern. Are you new? If so, welcome!;)
