Since Josephine seems to have gone missing lately, I am posting this picture of our dear friend and fellow and fan. Come back sockeye! I suspect several of us finned W&G fans will be chuffed to mintballs to see you!

Mark the shark Posted: Feb 12th 2008

Yes, where have thy gone, Josephine? Sock Eye Salmon has gone missing? Where are you? COOME BAAACK!!!:'(:'(:'(:'(

Fish Posted: Feb 12th 2008

Please come back, sock eye! Tell us another story, pretty please with mintballs on it....?

Josephine Posted: Feb 12th 2008

GREETINGS, FISH!

AND OTHER FELLOW WATER DWELLERS AND LOVELY W&G FANS!

DO NOT DESPAIR! I HAVE NOT DESERTED YOU! WOULD I DO THAT?

WOULD I HECK!

It was necessary that I had to be away from you for a little while as, once again, to save you groaning at your computer screens with another reason/excuse for my absence - shall I just say that the dog ate my homework!

My, my, Fish! What a lovely picture of yours truly! I am chuffed to mintballs with it (are you an Angel Fish, Fish? I know that Mark The Shark is a Shark and squigly is a squid...)

Even the colour is spot on ! Unfortunately the picture showed the side that does not have a sock on my eye BUT, I can tell you, I was wearing my Shaun The Sheep one when Rolf Harris was painting my portrait at the time - so, really, it is a case of can you tell what the sock is, yet?!

Do not despair if I am ever absent for more than 48 hours from the Forum! It is only temporary and normal mintball/Sock Eye Salmon service will resume!

I thank you!

SOCK EYE SALMON

Wow! A dog ate your high school (or whichever school) homework!!! Wow, I couldn't think of my cousins' beshon Rocky eating their uni studies stuff! Imagine if my goldfish Daisy happened to eat my primary school homework! Oh, well, I'm lucky. My teacher has been off for almost two weeks and nearly every subtitie has forgoten to give us homework! WAHOOOO!;)

Josephine Posted: Feb 13th 2008

As I am a little too old for school, I had to say something without compromising the personal details clause...

Besides, of all the homework my dog has eaten, she hated maths!

But she loved Home Economics because it was about FOOD!!!

Yum, yum!

Tee Hee!

KERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRSPPPPPLLOOOOOOOOSHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Mark the shark Posted: Feb 19th 2008

Hmmm, pizzas.:D

jodyblue1 Posted: Feb 19th 2008

squigly you should get yours animated!

Ewern Posted: Feb 19th 2008

The Salmon looks quite evil!

Mark the shark Posted: Feb 19th 2008

It does actually!;)

Josephine Posted: Feb 19th 2008

Looks aren't everything, Ewern!

Fish Posted: Feb 20th 2008

That Salmon is my friend and she is NOT evil! 8)

squigly Posted: Feb 20th 2008

That's the evil cousin...salmon-ella. She loses all color as she flees from the ball at the stroke of midnight. Only when kissed by the charming Prince does salmon-ella turn several shades of blushing red (as pictured).

The real sock-eye salmon is not evil at all. She can be distinguished from the evil cousin Salmon-ella only by the presence of a & sock covering the left eye. And that's the truth!!!!8)

cinders1 Posted: Feb 20th 2008

sgigley hehe cant see a prince kissing salmonella, it just might kill him!!!!! thats one bug you dont want to catch!!!hehehehe;)

Fish Posted: Feb 22nd 2008

Sometimes sockeye must put the sock on the other side - look at this picture!

Mark the shark Posted: Feb 23rd 2008

Wow! Great pic!;)

Fish Posted: Feb 23rd 2008

That's because Josephine....er...sock eye...is so photogenic!8)

Josephine Posted: Feb 23rd 2008

Fish - thank you very kindly! I wondered what you were doing with that camera, when a tourist dropped it into the water whilst we were on our swimming adventures? Hey, I'm even smiling - instead of looking like a slapped kipper! I was relieved to have found my missing sock and it's on my other eye. I feel lost without my socks. It was a lovely day that day, wasn't it? Look at that water...

You take a lovely picture, Fish!

Squigly! Go to the top of the class with salmon-ella! Woah-hooo! I've just stopped laughing out loud (and getting funny looks from my colleagues) when I read your post!

Actually, Salmon-ella is an evil distant cousin. Many royal dynasties of fish are threatened because, as you rightly pointed out, every time she is kissed by a handsome prince (whilst dozing on her sea-bed zzzzzzzz...) they end up very sick indeed...she's trouble! BEWARE OF IMITATIONS!!!

She is the one with no socks - she says they cramp her style and prefers not to be referred to as having wooly footwear for eyes!

Fishies - get ready!

Paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa dumph-a-dumph-a-dumph-a-dumph-a-dumph...

KERRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSPPPPPLLLLOOOOSHHHH!!!!

I thank you!

Sock Eye Salmon

Josephine Posted: Feb 23rd 2008

I was referring to the fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty" when I was talking about her being woken up by a kiss from a handsome prince whilst dozing on her sea-bed...

What is it about princesses and beds? The Princess and the Pea, Sleeping Beauty...

Do they not get out of bed for less than a certain amount of money?

Sounds like Salmon-ella to me!

Fish Posted: Feb 23rd 2008

I believe Carl Jung (and Dr. Freud)had a field day with the symbolic meaning of nubile maidens sleeping their way through fairy tales! 8)

Mark the shark Posted: Feb 23rd 2008

Snow White too!;)
