Yes, those poor boys. 
You are so right, Sharkie! Yesterday we got more information about the disasterous storm. 
I found out that I know several of the boys who were at the camp. Although one is still in the hospital with a broken pelvis, the rest of the boys I know sustained only minor injuries. Because our family has a connection with scouting, I was fairly sure I knew some of them. I also found out that, contrary to early reports, the boys who died were not outside in the wilderness. They were actually in the safest building in the camp, and doing all the right things to be safe in a storm. It was simply an extremely strong tornado that hit that building with incredible force. It is a miracle that anyone survived.
I talked with one of the scout masters and learned about some of the brave things several of the boys did. These 11 to 14 year old boys saved lives with quick thinking and courage. So as painful as it all is, we are quite proud of all those boys and their leaders.

Pretty perfect. Vog's stayed away ever since the tradewinds returned. Just a few sprinkles here and there...we call it liquid sunshine!
I'm glad the weather's giving you a little breather for now. A story about the Iowa flooding (Cedar Rapids River) and how the destruction of the corn crops because of the storms will affect global pricing was in our newspaper today.

Squigly, I forgot you have "ear issues" too. I can get my ears wet as long as I have taken my computerized hearing aids out. They have trouble with humidity in the air, too. So I have to be very careful.
