Heres a competition where you can post a idea for a Cracking Contraption. The competition goes on every week with this week's ending on April 6th. So get your invention idea's written here in a Cracking Contraption story. Remember follow the basics of the others eg. Time, Story... You have the chance of winning. Remember to make it interesting and have a Wallace and Gromit invention made by you. Maybe enter a drawing of the creation too and that could give a better chance of winning. Well, this invention has the same design as a Nintendo DS; but with loads of new features.Firstly it has Wallace And Gromit stickers (which you can peel off if you want to) free on the DS. Secondly the Ds o menu has W & G background; Wallace on the left putting his arms around Gromit on the right with Hutch eating cheese on the left off the touch screen.On the right it has the wrong trousers.

Finally when you turn the DS o on it has Wallace saying: Hello, cheese anyone. When you put the DS it has Wallace saying: I'll have all the cheese to myself then

What goes wrong in the video then when there testing it?

When they press one button the whole thing breaks

The Ice-Cream-O-Matic

Wallace and Gromit are in the park in summer with Wallaces new invention Ice-Cream-O-Matic giving the town 50p Ice Creams from all flavours. The Food Tester is coming to the park to see if the invention is going well, Wallace is serving Mrs Mulch who asked for a Super Wooper Ice Cream Bongo Delux and it is putting the machine under pressure. The Food Tester is lined up after Mrs Mulch and The Food Tester asks for a 2 cone vanilla and because of Mrs Mulches ice cream pressure the machine goes bonkers and ice cream flies over the Food Tester the machine is going everywhere and Gromit puts his hands over his eyes and nods his head, Wallace says "I think its back to the drawing boards for us lad."

The Washing-Line-O-Matic


Gromit was out on a windy day putting washing up in the garden and Wallace was watching, as soon as the washing got put on the line it all blew straight off from the wind, Wallace said "Ohh Gromit, we need a invention to keep these on." and it was in the basement they were, Wallace ended up creating a super magnet with water sucker powers to keep the water in and keept them on the line to cool, When Wallace tested it he had a pen and pad ticking all the things it needed, "Waterproof, ohh Grom me pooch, I forgot the waterproof sensors, what shall we do, lets see how it goes..." so Wallace put his jacket on the line and hooked the magnets up and it was going well until a goosh of wind struck the jacket ant the wet jacket hit the magnet causing it chaos, it flew of the washing line and blew up making Wallace and Gromit go fully black with dust!

The cheese-o-matic the only way to get the cheese to perfection.
This machine adds together the ingredients it needs to make the cheese you have selected. Now normally you have to wait a while so that the cheese matures enough but cleverly added onto this machine is laser that speeds up the maturing process so that you only have to wait minutes before you cheese is delivered to you. And it won't forget the crackers, so no quick dashes to make that perfect quick snack for those long journeys ahead.

The cheese- o- matic has sparks flying every where as it begins to work hard at ageing the cheese. Horror. The cheese ages into mold and the laser's bolt comes lose and zaps Wallace who is standing confused as to what has happened to his lovely Wensleydale he was making.
But no fear gromit comes to the rescue with a spanner and wrench to fix the laser and reverse the ageing process.
All in time for a some crackers and cheese.
