The Shaun in the City flock has arrived in London's Covent Garden for one last round up before a grand auction on the 8th October! The London exhibition takes place from 24th-27th September and offers a final chance to see all 120 Shaun in the City sculptures before they go under the hammer.
The sculptures will be displayed in the famous Covent Garden Piazza, in the heart of London's bustling West End, giving tourists and passers-by an eye-catching display of all the beautifully designed Shauns from the London and Bristol trails which took place in the Spring and Summer. You'll be able to tick off the Shauns you may have missed on the trail, casting your eyes over creations from the likes of Wallace and Gromit creator Nick Park, supermodel David Gandy and fashion designer Dame Zandra Rhodes.
Celebrity auctioneer Tim Wonnacott will be visiting the exhibition on 25th September, so if you're in the market for bidding on a Shaun you'll be able to get some expert advice on the sculptures. At the end of their London stay, the colourful Shauns will be transported back to Bristol where they'll be stored until an exciting auction - hosted by Tim - which will raise funds for Wallace & Gromit's Children's Charityand The Grand Appeal.
Director of Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Foundation, Nicola Masters said: “It's been a wonderful summer for Shaun and our Covent Garden exhibition represents the last chance for the public to see all 120 sculptures from our London and Bristol trails before they go to auction in October.
"We're delighted to have had the support of so many designers and sponsors in bringing this fabulous flock to the city’s streets for so many thousands of people to enjoy. We really hope as many people as possible will head to Covent Garden to see our Shauns this weekend. With London Fashion Week over, a sheep walk should provide the perfect substitute to the cat walk."
