New Wallace and Gromit Street Art!

An exciting new piece of Wallace and Gromit street art has been revealed in Bristol!

Decorating the office of building company CW Duke, the full-height mural has been created by local graffiti artists Cheo and Sokem, taking three days complete!

You can spot it on the side of the building which is located opposite the entrance to the Cabot Circus shopping centre, close to the entrance to the M32. It can be seen from both the road and the pavement.

CW Duke director Jon Porter explained the idea behind the artwork:

"Street art is huge in Bristol, especially in the Stokes Croft/St Paul's area where we are based and have been part of the community for over 20 years, so we thought designing our signage in a graffiti style would fit in nicely with the surrounding area.

A lot of people in the city have a big connection with Wallace and Gromit, both as beloved television characters but also thanks to the excellent work that the Wallace and Gromit Charity does in Bristol and for the Children’s Hospital just up the road from us.

We worked closely with Yuzu Creative and Cheo and once we saw this design we thought it perfectly mixed all of the elements together”.

So if you live in Bristol or are just passing through, be sure to look out for this colourful piece of street art.
